Cheers!

Only touring London at present, but if they spread their net much wider north then I may go see them.

Interview with Eno on the new project in today's Guardian

http://www.guardian.co.uk/music/2010/sep/14/brian-eno-album-milk-sea?CMP=twt_gu

"The improvisations are not attempts to end up with a song, but rather with a landscape, a feeling of a place and perhaps the suggestion of an event. In a sense they deliberately lack 'personality': there is no singer, no narrator, no guide as to what you ought to be feeling." [/b]
Thanks for that Martin.
I always like the way BEno talks about his projects.
Funny: a quality paper introducing him as former GUITARIST of Roxy Music.

If it doesn't cost 10 or more euro's more, I'll go for that one!
(why must the Japanese always have better versions?)

For those who like a bit of old fashioned analogue synth, The Vanity Clause debut album came out yesterday.

Available to download from Amazon here: -

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Fractured/dp/B004BB9RRQ/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1289910269&sr=8-1-catcorr

or it can be had on CD from the states (link on their MySpace site).

I became aware of their music a year or so ago and they were kind enough to send me a couple of early EPs for free. There sound and line-up has changed a bit since then though and they now have a female lead vocalist.

The album gets slated in this months Wire mag. As I'm reading the review I'm thinking I'll like this, then.. So i've listened to samples of it & I'm definitely gonna buy it.

The reviewer needs to invest in a better pair of ears.
