Listening to this now, I too am disappointed with Mark Jones.

He just doesn't give the impression at all that he is an 'authority' on electronic music, and yes, he does persistently interrupt John and finish the anecdotes for him.

John comes over very well when it comes to being an 'authority on the subject'. While there's little that is new, its always great to hear him expanding on why certain tracks are important and relevant, and more recently to link the pieces together.

Some great choices of music of course, especially the Shadows track.

I "get it" now too.

Thanks to all for setting this up - a bonus 'Christmas present' to us all. cool

Right Martin! it's always clear that John's knowledge and intellect is always way above everyone else's.
Still we must be grateful for this. So we have to thank Mark Jones!

"Electro Guru", as you see Jones being described, is a bit of a misnomer imho.
As for Foxx's part, it was a nice show which provided additional information to the things he extensively talked about previously.
I only thought it was going to be spanning the full 2hrs of the show laugh

greetings to everybody,
fons
