There's so many stand-out tracks from the Swiss, I can't choose!
I've got all twelve regular albums myself, the first six in the superb remastered editions. I've read that they have a lot of recordings with the late Billy MacKenzie (Associates) on the shelves. But that it's still too painful to do something with them ...

I have a single called "I love you" BW "Rubber West". Excellent!

Oh, and "The Race". Not so good.

Wasn't aware of the Billy Mackenzie or Bassey stuff..
Althoug I'd have avoided it on principle, due to
A: The Race, and B: Shirley Bassey..

The Shirley Bassey track everyone is talking about is 'The Rhythm Divine' and it's surprisingly good, perfect for a voice like hers, and of course the backing vocals are done by Billy McKenzie so that's a bonus. Where else you gonna get a Swiss keyboard player with a Welsh vocalist and Scottish backing vocalist?

'The Race' is one of those tracks you either love or hate. I love it but I know others find it irritating as hell. If I remember rightly, Dieter collects racing cars (real ones, not models!), which explains a lot.

Yes, 'The Race' ...
I did dislike it too, because it was played so many times in sportshows. But when that was no longer the case, it grew on me.
It's still not my favourite Yello song though.
It's like when Bowie became a superstar ('Let's Dance'). Everybody thought he was great (and straight). And that was exactly the moment I backed of ...
