Yes, welcome to our world, Martin! wink Looking forward to what you think of DAF once you've had a listen.

Meanwhile, I need to think of the four other essential non-Foxx/non-favorite-artist CDs that will join "Alles Ist Gut" on my list of five. I think I have too many favorites, because it's kind of hard to narrow things down . . .

I don't have time to think of 5 albums now but I know what my #1 album is:

Vangelis - L'Apocalypse Des Animaux

This is an obscure instrumental soundtrack album from 1973. After the percussive opening track, there are 4 sad, delicate, beautiful melodic tracks. These are followed by 2 proto-ambient tracks. Of the ambient tracks, the 10 minute "Creation Du Monde" is particularly stunning. Time slows down when you play it.

I've listened to this album hundreds of times (as background while working) and still enjoy it. On the downside, it is very short and somewhat lo-fi.
