That's why I think the remasters are disappointing. Too much bass all round. They should be clear, crisp, clean & pin-sharp, especially 'Computerworld'. [/b]
That's the only one I can really find fault with. I've neglected Techno-Pop, Man Machine and most of the others at present because I've fallen head over heels in love with Radio-Activity again, which I feel has benefitted from the clean-up operation - Autobahn also. [/b]I listened to the original masters to see what ones I would replace with the remasters. So I went for 'Computerworld' & 'TMM' as the original masters of 'Autobahn', 'Radioactivity', & 'TEE' sounded great to my ears, so there was no need to fork out more lolly than was necessary.
I think the remastering for 'Computerworld' & 'TMM' must have been done with cotton wool in Ralf & Co's lug 'oles.
Someone should have given them a copy of 'Metamatic' remaster as a guide. Then they would have got it right.
Shame on you Garry for falling out of love with 'Radioactivity' in the first place.
