back to pop:
After letting me hear it about 400 times my daughter has convinced me that the Duffy album Rockferry really is quite good.

back to pop(2):
I heard the Last Shadow Puppets album and I liked the sound of it but I sort of get the feeling one could tire of it easily.

If you like your music loud but tasty :p ; Fear of A Blank Planet from Porcupine Tree. I think it's a record for these times that had to be made.

Its worth giving Cherry Red records a thumbs up too for their release of Visage - 'The Anvil'. Although its not what some of us had been wanting in a Visage re-release, it was at least better than the original cd versions.

I have a soft spot for Crush. Pacific Age was too trendy for me. After Paul left, he took the true spirit away for me. I would buy a remastered Crush -- no doubt.

I am bringing this thread back to life since 2008 is starting to wind down.

I am adding U2's Boy remaster deluxe edition to this list, specifically for the bonus cd.

There might yet be a NEW U2 album to add to the list! wink

Jori's effort, Hayden "In Field & Town", The Notwist "The Devil, You + Me" and Portishead "Third" have been the standouts for me.

Calexico and Lambchop are due. David Sylvian?

As for reissues, I understand there are one or two about to make an appearance. wink
