If you watch the film, listen to the music in the scene in Taffy's nightclub - just before Zora heads for the dressing room...Junk Culture's title track sounds VERY similar!

It's not just me who thinks that then...

It's most obvious just after Rachel 'hungs-up' on Deckard.

Ah Ha! A bit of digging turned up this nugget of info -

Vangelis - used an Emulator I on the soundtrack to Blade Runner

Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark also used an Emulator I.

All Emulator’s came with a floppy disk with some pre-set samples. The "Mexican Radio" sample included with the Emulator I disk forms the basis for Junk Culture and the Vangelis track!

well there you have it then !

(..frantically digs out old Blade Runner video .. oops haven't got a VCR anymore..)
