fyi : there once was a show called "nu-vox radio" & i was its host ...

however ... the main reason , why i write this message here now is not simply a nostalgic one , but actually based on an idea to revive a good thing in a wee bit different way again ! ;-)

fyi : once "nu-vox radio" was a specific format , where a certain musician or a band could introduce their music & themselves to a new audience via that radio show , but what i have in mind right now is something else : as there are still A LOT of musicians & bands , who @ least read this forum , albeit they may not participate that much here currently , i thought "why not make a special radio show with A GOOD SELECTION of several bands & musicians to play every now & then , who are members of this or the ev ( ultravox ) forum ?"
i would like to start to compile a list of indeed interested candidates now for a 1st show in oct. & try to find @ least 10 or 12 musicians & bands that send in ONE SONG EACH to be played in that show !

anyone interested in this only slightly new , bust still good - imho , of course ;-) - concept , fellows ?

if so , jus' reply here to show your interest & we'll see , how things progress from this point on ! :-)

I think the Mateyblokes would be interested but we would probably have trouble deciding which track.

Great idea, Olaf. I'd be very interested (if chosen)in participating in this. The only problem is that my music is not radio friendly, so you may lose a few listeners if my stuff is played

btw : the music ( or "noise" ;-) that u chose as YOUR SONG to be played in such a show DOESN'T have to be "radio friendly" in any way , as everything is possible ... which the regular listeners of my "alien disco" or other shows most likely know already ! ;-)

anyway ... brian & kerry can chose a song from each other , so brian can chose one of kerry's songs & kerry one of brian's ! :-)

mark , u are free to participate with WHATEVER track / song / epos u want ... as long as it's not much longer than about 10 minutes * ! ;-)

so we have already the 1st 3 participants for the reopening show sometime in oct. ! :-)

who's next ? ;-)

the "rules" are rather simple : who comes 1st will also be played in the 1st show ! :-)

it doesn't matter , if it's an original or a cover version , an instrumental or an acapella or a remix or jus' ... a song ! :-)

Thanks Olaf - That's eased my mind a bit. I have another project called The Atomic Orchestra Of Radioactive Europe & a mini cd entitled Nuclear Chocolate. Would I be able to submit a track from this, as well as an Apparatus And Hand track?

Glad to see theres some interest in 'Nu Vox' here, as theres not too much at E.V. I still promise not to submit any tracks though. Suppose the reason for more interest here is because theres more people here who make their own music. The two big players over there are obviously 'Monument' and 'YTDS', hope their both up for it too.
