Well i can see why as its very commercial. Its the same for me as a few weeks back, i dont think it fits the album but its great as a single choice.

They even had an internet competition...submit your own Salmon Dance. Ed and Tom picked the winner and the prize was tix to a sold out Brixton gig, I believe.

That sounds like the atmosphere of the gig would have dipped if the 'salmon dance' was in the set. So if they know its a bit shi*y, why still release it as a single.
