For some reason I can't really explain, though music was increasingly important to me I dithered about going to see it performed live and my first gig was in 1983 when I was 18. It was Marillion at Birmingham Odeon. Just a couple of months before I had turned down a chance to see John on The Golden Section Tour at the Tin Can Club in Bradford Street, Birmingham. A seedy dive with a strip club on the floor below, but much cooler than breaking my gig-virginity with Marillion!

Shadow Man Member Joined: Dec 2006 Likes: 1 Hamburg, Germany	It must been '75 or '76 as my brother took his little brother (me) to my very first concert of Jethro Tull ( ) and later to my second concert of Uriah Heep( ) BUT MY THIRD CONCERT (in 78) I !!!! HAVE TAKEN MY BROTHER WITH ME!!! TO MY ONLY EVER SEEN CONCERT OF ULTRAVOX! What a gig!... Now I had found my music ... This love never ended until today! A lot! of Concerts of the New wave period followed...
