Today I got home to find three full fence panels had blown out of place across the garden, breaking in the process.

That was after almost getting decapitated in the middle of Sheffield by a flying roadworks sign.

It's windy.

Looknig on the news, there are some people with more than a fence to worry about, but at some point today it did start to feel like everything was turning into "The Day After Tomorrow"!!

Sorry to hear about your fence! My neighbour's back garden gate is hanging on by a thread!!

I was looking out of the window at work today and the lampost was moving about 4 inches in either direction and the windows were almost bowing!! Scary stuff! Seems to have calmed down now.

I've heard a rumour that snow is on it's way south.

Hoping I can slot them all back in tomorrow.

I've had double glazing fitted today,Its a miracle they did it.Been vacuming up debris all day since they left.

Winds dropped at the moment.Hope the worst is over.
