Ps I wish our Den would get himself a female brass section like his ! smile
PPS for any scousers on board, by brass, I mean trombones and sax not... grin
..brushes away tumbleweed and cobwebs...

I guess it must be a sort of (unknown) guilty pleasures time ..

I'll tender this offering by one Karen Ramirez (who?) who had a hit with this late 90s .. had a pretty amazing video too .. and I only recently discovered it was a cover of a song by EBTG ...

Other than that ..in the true spirit of Manuel/A. Sachs .. I know nothing!

Here's one that always stymied me.

The Band: Re-Flex.
The Song: The Politics Of Dancing

It was a sizable hit in the 1983 "New Music" phase that swept across America briefly. It's a fair song. Not brilliant, but not awful either. It's produced by John Punter, who has produced and engineered many of my favorite records by bands as disparate as Roxy/Ferry, Doctors Of Madness, The Sensational Alex Harvey Band, JAPAN, Gloria Mundi, and Spoons. Actually, that's not so disparate. There are all art rockers. So the likelihood is that I might enjoy Re-Flex as much, but for a band with a reasonable hit like that one, it's surprising that any followup never managed to reach my ears.
