A marriage made in hell To be honest ; I can't see this thread going very far
I'll start it off with this little Synth based offering in a sneaky attempt to embarass our good friend Rads !!
Well Radler explain this away if you can ! and there's nothing you can blackmail me back with (Unless you find that collaboration with The Farm !!)
The horrendous Steve Wright just about sums it up at the end of the "Song"
Open up this link at your own peril fellow Foxxheads !!

Hi Ivan,

I can’t see YouTube at work – but I can make a guess…the godlike genius of Hoddle & Waddle?

If it’s Hoddle and Waddle then it’s the performance on TOTP of ‘Diamond Lights’ – Naffink blackmail abaht it guv - A HEARTBREAKING WORK OF STAGGERING GENIUS! wink

From memory (the clip is shown almost every single minute of every single week on all those bleedin’ TOP2080sSTUARTbloodyMACONIEblahblahblah programmes) Hoddle is really giving it some, whilst Waddle is looking like he wants to be somewhere else…Spain probably…or maybe he’s allergic to the suit he’s clearly mugged from Rick Astley.

Anyway, if we’re talking football songs; ‘World In Motion’ wins every time.*
smile

(*The John Barnes rap is the plus point :p )

Good Lord I always thought Charles and David were jellied eel eating Spammers !! Ossie has a "Que pasa aqui ?" look about him!
I'd've loved to have found the original 78 TOTP vid for "Ally's army
"And we'll really shake them up when we win the wereld cup cors Scortland's the greatest football team "
Irony of ironies the singer Cameron (like his namesake David) was a comedian
Enjoy this , the visuals at least The music is ropey to say the least ! eek

Cheers Ivan,

Here's a facinating fact about Charles and David for you;

Back in the early 70s they were known as the tightest rhythm section in Lahndun - so good in fact that they were the backing band for Labi Sifre on his classic 'I Got The'

So good was their drum and bass guitar break on 'I Got The',it was looped and sampled by Eminem for his first hit single - 'My Name is'!

Perhaps Eminem should do a cover of 'Rabbit' smile

You mean when it was their turn to get the ale in They went AWOL ! Figures they're Tottenham then ! laugh
On the other hand Mick Fleetwood and John McVie were considered the most generous rythmn section and would spend hours at the bar dealing out largesse

(Sorry for being flippant but I need cheering up . Last nights antics from The Arse and the Spammers have put me on a downer)
Going back to Tartan Army I suspect your erstwhile goleador Steve Archibald is one of the guilty parties smile
