Hello all, I just got turned on to this site and forum by another lover of electronic music and am looking forward to everything it has to offer.
I've enjoyed the music of John Foxx from the early Ultravox days, actually got to see that line up perform at Reading festival back in the late 70's. I then followed John's early solo career from 'Metamatic' through 'Mysterious Ways' but sort of lost touch with it through the late 80' and 90's. I recently came across a copy of 'Cathedral Oceans' and was glad to hear that there were still birds singing in 'The Garden'. I haven't picked up on, or heard any other work and would love to get some feedback on some recommendations from everyone.

Hello!!

I would certainly recommend any of John's post-1995 output!

You can read about all of his albums on my website: www.quietcity.co.uk

There's so much to discover... a personal favourite of mine is The Pleasures of Electricity from 2001.

I would definately recommend two of last year's key releases; From Trash and the instrumental album Tiny Colour Movies.
