Afternoon Membs . Look like you're the winner The Jethro Tull Convention was 3 parts purgatory to one part brilliance (when Ian Anderson took the stage ) Good 20 minutes from Dave Pegg ex Fairport Convention The other two hours were total Barry White (I ain't talking about the Philly Sound of the mid 70's either ) I went with the Half Marathon in the end this morning 1h 42
Any discs my West Country pal ?

Excellent. Thanks. Some different versions though I presume, without the analogue gear.
And a long show too. cool

how did they work the 'encore' thing this time?
Did you get Shifting City at the end??

It's usually either that or Endlessly laugh

I wonder if John and Louis have enjoyed the weekend, being nearby to Venice.

Exactly. The appearance of Shifting City at Cargo was a bonus I think, and a surprise to us all. I was under the impression that it was 'put to bed' a couple of years ago.

I know, I'm going off thread again here, (sorry  ) maybe this might make the subject of a new thread (or an old one), but I'd love something like 'Impossible' (extended Sideways version) as an encore

It would be a nice change, or anywhere on the setlist of any future live releases. Again, it is not a track featured on the up coming 'Neuro Video' album. While im in negative mode, i dont really understand why this 'extended' (standard really) version on 'Sideways' was not on the original album it was recorded for. Its not as if the 'From Trash' cd was short of space, or that the 'extended' version was significantly longer. Whoops, rant over.

Glad to hear the gig went well, and look forward to any reviews and picys. smile

Yes we did get Endlessly which segued straight into Shifting both helping to make it perfect finale. Sorry still no time for a proper review frown
