John's latest Blog entry:-

John Foxx performs Metamatic in Cargo, London

We've added an extra date to this autumn's Metamatic tour. John Foxx will now be performing the whole of the album plus B-sides at Cargo in Shoreditch on October 8. Tickets will be available through wegottickets.com for £12.50 advance (£15 on the door if it hasn't sold out before). The ICA show in London on September 29 is now sold out so thanks to everyone who bought tickets for that event. Cargo is a great venue in John's old stomping ground in Shoreditch so it should be a great night. However, I'd advise people to buy tickets sooner rather than later to avoid disappointment.

The full address is -

Cargo, 83 Rivington Street, Kingsland Viaduct, Shoreditch, London EC2A 3AY

Hi Sarah
Thanks for the info about Cargo and the link to the ticket site.

I'm afraid I'll need to holdfire until tomorrow before I can order my ticket. Look forward to meeting with you and other forum members.

Peter

We're travelling to London on the 8th, and checking in to a hotel mid afternoon so I don't know if you and Garry (if he's going) want to meet up with us a bit before the gig for a jolly. Perhaps get together at the hotel and go to the gig in one group? The hotel is very close to Cargo.

Hey, I'm seeing John on the 29th, then the 6th at Birmingham and then on the 8th at Cargo. If the Brighton gig wasn't a Sunday and the trains weren't such a challenge, I'd be at that one aswell!

John/Louis - could I please hitch a ride with you from Birmingham to Brighton? laugh

I'd love to go to the Brighton gig because Tessa will be there. laugh

Hi Sarah
Sounds like a wonderful idea. Probably best to make arrangements nearer the time.
