Noticed this on e-bay. Looking on 'net it seems this was a German release only.

Yes, it is a German Ultravox compilation about the Island Years. I had a copy in the past. But after the releases of the 3 remastered Island albums in 2007, there are not longer non album tracks on this compilation. It is only interesting for completists now. If I remember right there was no very informative booklet, but the track list was good.

Hi guys,

That was a mid-90s budget-price release on the Spectrum label (Polydor/PolyGram/Phillips) - and easily available here in the UK.

Spectrum also issued similar compilation albums of material by Sparks and Soft Cell. For a while it was the only way you could get a decent version of Soft Cell's 'A Man Could Get Lost'

£5 is far too much to pay - you'll easily get it on Amazon/elsewhere much cheaper

For some reason I had it down as being a UK rather than German release when I included it in the Discography . There's a cassette version as well...

I have this cd too, but i compare it with 'The Island Years' i.e. a good compilation, but theres only one 'Three Into One'.

I've always liked the tasteful sleeve design of this one.

Its an 'okay' cover in the sense that they did try to make it within the Ultravox style.
Theres been far worse over the years, and a big Hi! goes out to Disky. smile

Slow Motion was at the time I brought it, a very good compilation and the only reason I got it was because it was the first time that Cross Fade was available on a CD.

Yes, the same reason for me too + Young Savage which I never had on CD before. I know there was Three into One but I only had it as a vinyl copy.
