Never heard of them but at least John & Louis are getting recognition:-

Cool! I'm glad to see Tony Levin on there, too. He, Mick Karn, and Trey Gunn are the three best bass players on the planet.
Fascinating to see how much cross-platform appeal John and Louis' music has.

I've not heard of much of the other stuff on this guy's list, and it doesn't seem to be 'electronica'-based. A lot of the albums are described as 'experimental' which is interesting because I really don't think that From Trash is that, and I am surprised to see it in with this other stuff.

Refreshing though, because maybe it means that JF & LG are beginning to reach a different audience, which can only be a good thing.
As a matter of interest, what WAS the best album released in 2006?

For my money, it's
The Drift, by Scott Walker
It's nice to see John and Louis getting some recognition for their music. smile

Id defently agree with scott walkers the drift.
I really rate "from trash". It's diverse, and not at all what I was expecting.

I'm not the only one at NerveJam.Com raving about it.
