I can't recommend The Machine Stops theatre production highly enough.
It really is a great interpretation of EM Forster's dystopian short story.
The soundtrack - which makes up some of the material on the new album - is mixed live as the action unfolds.

I saw it and met the cast in Eastleigh last year, and will be going to the show in a Foxxian Highgate setting on March 10th

Got my copy yesterday. Initial listens generally positive . Some distinct nods to a few sounds from "The Golden Age of the Future" Human League demo CD
The sounds are all very stylised and it's a style I like, so

Coincidentally Hawkwind released an album based on The Machine Stops last year. I like the taste of the instrumentals but the songs are perhaps a bit 'heard 'em before'.
