Thanks Shadow man! Nice to be here! I have been thinking of John and his music alot lately! To the point "where I nervously" tell you about my version of "Sitting At The Edge Of The World", which you can currently hear on my player at Myspace... its okay if you all absolutely hate it and think its total Sacrilege to a classic John Foxx song! smile

I did it because its my favourite of his!

Anyway let me know what you think!

Hi Maxi, I didn’t realise that it was yourself covering Sitting At The Edge’ - apologies for my nonsense attempt at humour earlier today in the ‘what music are you listening to thread’ - and if you listen very carefully you might just hear the sound of me putting my foot in my mouth there

Welcome to the forum, and good luck with your new album smile

Welcome maxidunn! smile

I find it very cool that you covered a JF song! cool
Enjoyed your version, it's a bit less Beatles and a bit more poppy if I may say so. smile

Thankyou very much, its all great and positive feedback so it makes me happy! Yes I am more a "powerpop songstress" these days, but I definitley wanted to keep some of the original aspects of the song. Hopefully reached a happy medium!!!

I also have to thank a guy called "Peter Hackett" from "Cult Of Wedge" who worked on the song for me and the majority of my 14 track album! Nine songs infact!

I think you will all like the main track "Welcome To Soonville", there is a great video to it up on You Tube aswell! But it is on myspace too. That is in my more indie/alternative approach to the album.

Its got great feedback so far! Have I sold it! haha

Actually be great if you could all get your own copy, I would love some feedback on it!

Thanks again and its so lovely to be around such a friendly bunch! I am sorry I have been away for so long!
