Theo Travis has been busy in the studio recording tracks for his next album with Robert Fripp and mixing them with ace producer Steven Wilson. The yet to be titled release features brand new recordings to be released in early 2012 on CD and in 5.1 surround sound. There is also planned to be some exclusive live video footage from the concerts in Cornwall in 2010. Watch this space for further information!
Theo has recently had some succesful solo performances using flutes, soprano sax and live electronics and looping. The evenings at Kings Place, London and in Poole, Dorset were particularly successful and following Theo's solo sets, he was joined for a second set of experimental improv by keyboard player Daniel Biro and guitarist Rob Palmer.

Theo's next solo performance will be on October 14 as part of the Burning Shed 10 the Anniversary event in Leamington Spa, UK.

I believe this means Theo Travis is in Leamington Spa the day after John Foxx + The Maths. How's that for synchronicity?
