As far as I'm aware, no 'definite' date has so far been announced - but I believe that it'll be released sometime in the next couple of months.

Everything is done now and it's going to the pressing plant tomorrow so as soon as we have a delivery date, it will be available for pre-order through the Toffeetones shop.

I'll let you know as soon as everything is confirmed.

Don't suppose there is any chance of copies being available in time for the gig at the Grub Cafe?
Posted By: Vox Humana Re: Electric Shock Treatment - 06/09/09 06:34 PM
I can't say for sure that it will... but never say never wink

The packaging for this album is pretty spectacular, (an 8 panel double digipack) so it might not happen as these things take a lot longer to put together. We've never done anything like this before and Matty and I are as excited as kids in a sweet shop about it!

The official release date has now been set at Monday 20th July. Louis is having a special album launch party in Shrewsbury, (see separate thread) of Friday 18th so there will definitely be albums available there which he will sign.

And now for hot-off-the-press news:

As I've been typing this, the courier has delivered the CD Single "This Air" which we're literally putting into mailers to go off in tomorrow's post.

I'm really sorry they took longer to be delivered than estimated but we're experimenting with new exciting packaging at the moment and these lovely gatefold digipacks do take longer to produce.

Anyhow, if you bought a copy, you'll see for yourself by the end of the week.

The East Grinstead show on the 26th will also have copies available for signing (and it's very likely that the limited edition vinyl single version will be available too)... oh and some very cool t-shirts and badges...

It's all go back here I tell thee laugh

Shaun, since it is impossible to go to a liveshow myself at the moment, is there any chance to buy them signed? (thinking on getting me the single and the special edition digipack).

greetings,
fons

I wish it were that simple Fons but we have no plans to sell signed copies through the toffeetones shop. Louis will only be signing items presented to him at his shows.

I do appreciate your dilemma, (being in Holland) but if I might make a suggestion. What I've seen other people do in this situation is to contact a friend in the UK who is going to a show and ask them to get an item signed on your behalf and send it on to you.

Hope that helps,

Shaun

Thanks for the quick reply Shaun smile
Otherwise I'll just buy them online and have them signed on the next possible gig (with John? laugh )
Is anyone here planning to go there?
