Probably been heard before.Let's hope the listing info is correct his time

MUSIC: Gideon Coe
On: BBC 6 Music (76)
Date: Tuesday 24th June 2008 (starting in 1 day)
Time: 21:00 to 00:00 (3 hours long)

Great live tracks plucked from the BBC archive with a side order of quality wist, including concert highlights from Emma Pollock recorded at the Indian Summer Festival and session tracks from Ultravox recorded for John Peel in 1977.
Have just heard The Man Who Dies Everyday so looks like the session will be spread throughout tonight's show. So glad they put this on first so I could get a decent copy to fill the gap in the Strange Fruit release which for some reason omitted this track. FANTASTIC!
And the other track was Young Savage which sounded edited.

Gideon Coe still gets the title wrong for the Man who dies every day.

He calls it the Man who dies today.
(did when he played it last year as well)

Brian
The fact he included these tracks in his show more than makes up for his getting the title wrong wink
Too true.

Maybe one day we will get the rest of the session with My Sex & Artificial Life included.
Although I've got the Strange Fruit releases, it would be good to hear the session as originally broadcast including Peely's comments.

Yes, when I listened last year I could not believe it! Didn't get to listen to it this time around. Was this just a rebroadcast of last year's show or was it new?
Hi Maryann,

It was a new show as far as I know.

Brian
frown I didnt listen because I assumed it was a rebroadcast. Oh well...

He made the same mistake on two different shows confused
