Does anyone have any information on this story from John.
It is apparently a new one, not an extract from the Quiet Man book,
and was published by Nightjar press during last month, along with another book
also called "The lake" from a different author.

I only found out about this earlier today - and was going to post about it when I saw that you'd beaten me to it... :-D

I'm reliably informed that there are only two hundred numbered copies - all of which have been signed by John.

I only found this by chance, when reading a Book blog review.
The publishing group seems to be related to the same team who included 'The Nebula'
in their Best British Short Stories round-up of 2021.

Glad I decided to pick up a copy, as the site didn't disclose how many are available.
