Does anyone know of or have any news regarding the recent (??) auction of the two hand-painted Burning Car acetates on eBay?

I can't seem to find any reference on the site, so I'm wondering if this even went ahead?

Yes, they appear to have been sold. It says so here .

Note: Karborn's web site seems to be actively updated. There are 3 free mix tapes available for download. The last one was added this month. There are a few dubs of JF & Ultravox songs in the mix but, be warned, the downloads are on the large side (60MB to 90MB).

If this trend continues, I suspect Rob will need to add a KARBORN section to the Metamatic forums.

Huh... Karborn appears to be very much into dubstep (even posting at the dubstepforum as Karbonara). Wonder if he can get John to do something with an overt dubstep feel one of these days, or work with some dubstep producers.
