Well i have to say what a brilliant event & what a venue.

I arrived early with Garry (Radiobeach) and bumped into Rob taking photos outside.
We managed to have a sneaky peek in the War Room before the gig where John & Benge were setting up.

The War Room is on the 3rd sub level and took some finding.
We passed rooms full of vintage equipment, generators, gauges and various other rooms.
The war room was overlooked by a gallery from where we would be watching the event later.

We got to say hello to John,Benge & Steve Malins and then left them to it & retired to the pub next door until our allotted time.

Rob,Garry & Brian:-

The Bunker:-

Warning sign:-

Before we were taken to the War Room we were led into a side room where we had a ticket stamped. The room was full of posters for the show
and quotes from the short story.
The girl doing the stamping was an actress i think. She asked me if I was carrying the book of the machine.I said no and she said
quite stroppily in character "The book of the machine must be on you at all times"

Posters:-

After a few minutes were were led into the gallery which overlooked The War Room.

As for the score it blew me away.

A mixture of Cathedral Oceans vocals,Blade Runner booms and noises and even something that sounded similar to Film One.

In the Q & A afterwards John said that Elizabeth (Gazzelletwin) provided some backing vocals.

Q&A

I'd like to thank Garry for his company on the journey and it was nice to see Rob again.

I look forward to seeing the play with the music in it's correct context and also hearing the full the soundtrack album.

Overall it all sounded quite awesome and we had a great day despite the M1 being closed on the way back.
