Another one of those 'great night' reviews. It's a shame that crap sound still warrants a 'great night' for so many folk.

Gary's hair seems to have taken on a life of its own.

Just received MM DVD today, some of these videos I've never seen some I remember from the 80s. Nice collection.

Is there any chance that the best of DVD will be released on CD audio?

I haven't heard anything as such - it would have been a good idea, since there hasn't been a Numan 'best of' since Exposure in 2002.

My copy of the DVD arrived yesterday.

I've not had chance to watch it yet.

When I opened the booklet I thought it looked like a John Foxx design.

Turns out it was done by Paul Agar who's been involved with some recent Foxx covers.

It's official Numan has lost the plot and is set to fleece his fans big style ....... A new 2CD album and 48 page book for just £55.99 thats right £55.99!!!

Gary Numan Big Noise Transmission Live 2CD and 48 page book

I have been a big fan of Numan's since 1979 but this is an outrageous way to fleece and rip of your fans Gary.

On a brighter note he is also bringing out another live DVD from his show at the Ritz in Manchester in December last year.

Agree with you 100%, Gary.

I think I've finally had enough of him. Total rip-off.

Another DVD! FFS

All this must all be funding his move abroad!

I won't be buying either. The book is probably nice, but is way overpriced. I have no interest whatsoever in the live album or DVD (which from the YouTube clip sounds like he's singing over the studio vocals) - I don't find his current live band line-up that strong compared to previous, set lists are predictable and many song arrangements aren't particularly exciting.

In general I'm fed up with live albums - regardless of the artist. I just don't play them. For me they're only usually worth if it's a show or tour that I saw.

Alex I thought the same thing in respect of the vocals, in fact on the track "Big Noise Transmission" I think he is miming, the vocals are exactly the same as the record and he is miles away from the microphone when he is "singing"!!

Not impressed with this rip off with the CD & Book package, the 2CD costs £10.99 therefore he is wanting people to stump up £45 for a 48 page booklet!

He never learns his lesson Numan and constantly wants to fleece hardcore fans, he is definitely doing himself no favours at all.

The other strange thing is how quickly he has turned around the DVD from the actual concert, he normal takes well in excess of a year doing the post production on his live DVD's this has taken barely 6 months, I hope it is a better quality DVD than his last few.
