I can't see in "my profile" were Avatars can be added....so how do you ?

Just email your photo (along with your real name, publicly displayed name and your member number) to either Rob at robinharris@metamatic.com or me at ev@ultravox.org.uk and we'll make one for you. It will be available for use both here and on the forum at www.ultravox.org.uk .

Steve has a bit of a more fundemental point in that the 'Avatar Image' option available on Ultravox.org.uk is missing from the Edit Profile page here.

Is this intentional?

Ahhh, gotcha! It seems we missed a checkbox to enable avatars - that's now fixed and you can choose existing pics or request a new custom avatar by emailing Rob or myself.

As for the graemlins (viking helmet and all), I've already duplicated the ones on EV for Metamatic but Rob hasn't yet had time to set them up. I'm sure he will soon.

Are the instructions in this thread still valid for adding an avatar as I can't see the option in my control panel?

Once you've logged in, you should be able to select an avatar by going to the 'Edit Profile' link under the 'My Stuff' heading. However, if you want a 'custom avatar', then please E-Mail me (robinharris@metamatic.com) with the images and I will sort it out for you.
