Hmmm - ok. Fair point well made.
If there's a credibility issue at stake, I'll withdraw that comment.

When I say "good" I mean, erm... not sh1t? *blush*

Wikipedia lists them as an english synthpop group, well, they were certainly 'pop', the 'uncool' band New Musik. I had their A to B album on vinyl back then (also had Mr Leer's The Bridge and Dalek's Compass Kum'pas, all long gone now) -

World Of Water - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1qbuAa_4kks

New Musik - good shout. They really were new music .. for a bit.

Now here's one. anyone remember Shriekback?

Not really synth-band as such but I really liked their single Hand on my Heart which I probably heard on Kid Jensen's show in 1984 and promptly bought the 7" single. As a next-to-penniless student I didn't go any further and invest in the album/cassette, but it was a damn good single/sound.
Apparently they're still going.

Blimey, I remember them - wasn't a big fan, but most people I knew then loved them.

I reckon they sound a lot like Pet Shop Boys...
