Anyone else been watching this fascinating series on TV recently?

Tonight, Nicholas Crane canoed down the beautiful Wye Valley, visiting not only some of the overgrown papermills but also passing through Piersfield House on his journey

Very 'Foxxian' of course - the only thing missing was an extract of Cathedral Oceans as the soundtrack!

With people like Nick Crane about, and Neil Oliver on Coast, it seems there may still be some hope for British TV after all cool

Sorry I meant to say (as I was side-tracked) that I concur with alacrity. As IMHO most TV these days is *@=+. The aforementioned aside I would prefer to watch the grass grow. laugh

Another good programme for landscapes is 'escape to the country', not too bothered about the houses they look around at though!

We'll probably get it on BBC Prime in 4-5 years time. On Sat. they start the 'new' series of Doctor Who, i.e. the first one with C Ecclestone & 'Rose'....
