Hey Robin : were you flooded in Ledbury? Bromyard was cut off but that's because it's in a valley, but I hear it was pretty grim all round.
Anyone else had problems with floods this weekend?

The main road in & out of the Village where I live was closed due to floods, clear now though.
I live near the river Tame, near Tamworth.
I'm also still waiting for my car to be repaired from flood damage from the last floods at the end of June:(

I thought about Rob when I read about floods in that part of the country.

Parts of Sheffield are still in a mess. Luckily where I live and work were not in the affected areas, but I know plenty of folk who were. It seems other parts of the UK are getting similar floods now, which is not good. And of course the worry being that how the badly hit places will cope if we have another dose of satanic weather.

Yeah... we wouldn't want all of Rob's as-yet-unpublished Metematic.com data to go floating downstream!! wink

Not only that but the area is rich in British Heritage. Tragic!

I hope Rob is fine.

Rob's fine, though his car isn't! He had to abandon it, and it has died a death. Ledbury's still pretty much cut off, but Rob & Ang's place is OK at the moment.

My Uncle Anthony lives in Tewkesbury, and they've been flooded out, bless them. They had to go back with a vet in a boat to sedate their dog to get him out (he's a big ol' thing). Everyone's OK, luckily.

I hope everyone we know is coping OK.

I really feel for these people, it's terrible.

I'm lucky where I live, although the river Sow runs through Stafford, we don't get much in the way of flooding, and I am fortunate in that I live in a high spot.

Sorry to hear about Rob's car. So many people have lost so much. Awful.

Rob, I'm glad to hear that you and your family are OK. Sorry to hear about your car.

Cerise, I hope your uncle and family gets over quickly these terrible times.

My thoughts also to everyone who visits us in this Forum who have relatives and friends affected.

Ok glad things are Ok. I gather things are better in Herefordshire floods-wise although more rain expected??? What a mess. Meanwhile the Med is on fire thanks to high temps and high winds.
