The dance/techno image only applies to one song - the title track! It is a good, upbeat number, but it just sounds so... 90s!

Beautiful Agony, Vintage and Meloncholic Rodeo are really great tracks - it's a shame the rest of the album isn't of the same standard.

And the album has been poorly marketed... or maybe it just wasn't the album the label were expecting!

I haven't much liked Jarre's late works - but according to me, his best is Waiting for Cousteau, especially the "long dull" (47 minutes!) title track. Explanation: during its release I participated scuba diving course and found the magic of underwater myself. On that album, Jarre has amazingly well captured the spirits of diving.

Waiting for Cousteau is a great album. It sounds very 'digital' today, but it's still great. Very aquatic.

I dont have any music to play of Jean Michel Jarre, but today would be the day to play it. Happy Birthday JMJ.
